I apologize for not blogging when I said I would . . . as my life has been good, but crazy busy. Today will be a short post, and hopefully I can write a longer one tomorrow.
I have finished Resolve, and it is in the editing process. I’ll be going over design cover, layout, and preparing for the book trailer really soon. I LOVE this part of publishing.
In the meantime, there are two projects that I will be working on whenever I have spare time. I’m not going to overwhelm myself, and I’m grateful that I don’t have deadlines for these books. The first one I’m working on is a devotional book to supplement the Rage to Redemption Trilogy. The devotion will discuss the serious issues that I brought up in the book(s) and how I learned to handle them. I’m excited to be working on it (my plan today is to figure out the set up).
The other project is going to be a family memoir for my mom’s side of the family – (I’m open to writing more, but I have to do one at a time otherwise it would be way too much) – which will include our favorite stories about each member. I’ve asked most of my family to start writing down stories for whoever they’d like, include pictures, etc. Each member will have their own chapter, and I’ll work on layout, etc. My purpose for writing this is because my great grandmother is aging and I’d like to get it finished so that she can have it. Also, as my cousins are growing up and moving away, this is a way for us to stay connected and read whenever we get homesick. My grandma is a fabulous story-teller, and I’m amazed how she remembers the countless stories & the animation she has while sharing them. I’d like to have every story of hers on paper too. I think this is going to be amazing, and I look forward to working on it!
Alright, that’s it for now. I am one busy author. I love my job.
