That’s right, we’re expecting! Baby Sheffield is due to appear around November 27th. We could not be more excited. My first OB appointment is on Monday, and I am going crazy with waiting. I cannot wait to hear the heartbeat and get my first sonogram picture.
How am I feeling? I have yet to go a day without feeling really nauseous. I used to feel better after eating certain foods, but now I just feel bad no matter what. I really hope I am better by the second trimester because this nausea is debilitating! I am also so tired and I don’t have the energy to go to the gym.
I’ve also gained some weight, and normally I am not self-conscious, but everyone’s comments about my tummy are definitely preventing me from sharing belly photos. I have been bloated ever since the first week I found out. This has also led people to believe that we’re having twins, but twins do not run in our families. I’ll also be upset to find out that we’re not having twins and my stomach is just huge. Here’s your warning: please do not comment about my size. Thank you.
But, that won’t stop me from eating what I believe the baby needs and I’ll eventually get to the gym. Or from wearing cute maternity outfits. I am excited to wear my first maternity dress on Easter Sunday.
Next post: I’ll share about how we “knew.” 🙂 Have a great Wednesday!
